After three years and second tenure as a New York City Police Commissioner, Bill Bratton retired today after a formal ceremony held at St. Andrews Plaza in Lower Manhattan. Dignitaries, Commanders, and Police Officers lined up to greet and farewell William Bratton as he honorably exits the doors of the NYPD headquarters as a Police Commissioner.
Mayor of New York City Bill de Blasio, Head of the NYC Emergency Management Agency Joseph J. Esposito, and Public Advocate for the City of New York, Letitia James were some of the dignitaries who attended the ceremony.
